Growing Food in the Home Garden Monthly Gardening Class- Recordings

A monthly online Gardening talk Tuesdays at 8pm through Zoom. Each month I will be discussing what I am doing in the garden in terms of sowing, planting and harvesting. I will be covering both indoor and outdoor crops with lots of tips and advice for successful growing. I will also cover some edible ornamental plants and plants which are good for promoting wildlife in the garden. I have a strong interest in Organic and No-Dig growing and creating a functional and beautiful garden. On purchase of recordings you will have access for a minimum of 2 weeks.

I have enjoyed growing a variety of more unusual edible plants in my garden. There is a growing interest in perennial edibles and they are a really good way to complement the more commonly grown annual crops. They are also a lot less work and have much to offer with their taste, health benefits and seasonal availability. This talk is an introduction to perennial edible crop and the reasons why growing some perennial edibles is a good idea. I will be focusing on 20 varieties suitable for the Irish Garden.
